What To Look For When Buying a Pre-Owned Wajer 77

No two Wajer 77s are ever quite the same. Since the first hull was delivered to her owner in 2021, owners have been personalizing their high-performance dayboat exactly to their liking. Designed to be highly customizable by the Dutch shipyards, buyers can opt between different engine systems, stabilizers, hull color, tenders, and more. While two Wajer 77s may look rather similar from the outside when docked, how they feel out on the open water and perform can vastly differ. With one Wajer 77 currently being built and four others in the fleet, the opportunity to purchase a pre-owned Wajer 77 is rare. For anyone looking for a Wajer 77 for sale, knowing what separates one hull from another is key.

One of the main differentiators between the Wajer 77s lies in the engine room. The standard option for this model is triple 900hp Volvo Penta IPS 1200 engines, with a 1,000hp IPS 1350 available as an upgrade. While at first glance it may seem like it’s not a big difference, it does matter. The second option gives you a top speed of 37 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots, speeds not possible with the standard engine option, so knowing which option is installed is more important than you’d think. Checking the engine and generator hours is also important, as they indicate how hard the Wajer  77 has been used.

Another important aspect to consider is how much warranty cover remains. Engine warranties usually run for one to three years, or a set number of run hours, so a more recent hull may still be covered. Potential buyers should examine the warranty to see if any of the original coverage is still applicable and is transferable, as some can only be transferred once. A full and detailed maintenance record is just as important when buying a pre-owned Wajer 77. Wajer Care offers year-round management, including a dedicated crew for the Wajer 77, from hubs in Port Grimaud, Ibiza, Mallorca, Amsterdam and Miami, which can come in handy.

Equipment onboard is another aspect where the Wajer 77 for sale can differ. The stabilizer is optional on the Wajer 77, but it does play an important role in comfort at anchor. The Williams 325 jet tender is part of Wajer’s specification, but Seabobs, electric surfboards, and extras such as Starlink vary from model to model. As such, each should be confirmed as part of the sale.

When it comes to a potential sale, pricing is another factor to bear in mind. For example, the Casa Bri Mare, delivered in 2025, is currently asking €6,687,773 ($7,499,000). Prices for various hulls can move, as Fellowship II, delivered in 2021, was listed for sale in September 2024 for $7,350,000. It was reduced to $6,999,000 in February 2025 and later to $5,999,999, before being withdrawn in November 2025. Where a yacht is registered matters too, as it can impact who can buy her and where, so potential buyers confirm the yacht’s flag and tax status before making an offer.

With so few models in the fleet, yet quite some variations between them, comparing them takes an expert eye, which will look into each Wajer 77’s specifications, history, and more. To learn more about Wajer 77 for sale, contact FGI Yacht Group.
